Siesta Memory Verses
I have wanted to memorize Proverbs 31:10-31 for a couple of years now but it's always been an overwhelming task to memorize that large a portion of scripture. I've wanted to memorize this portion of scripture as part of my effort to become a Proverbs 31 woman and what better way to know what it is to be a Proverbs 31 woman than to know by heart Proverbs 31. The Siesta Scripture Memory Team is a challenge by Beth Moore from Living Proof Ministries to her Siesta blog sisters to memorize 2 bible verses together each month. Each Siesta chooses the verses that mean the most to her, it's encouraging to think that thousands of women I've never met and probably never will meet are memorizing the Bible at the same time that I am. It truly is amazing the way God's people can be so distant physically and so close spiritually. My plan is to memorize the 22 verses in Proverbs 31:10-31 then I'll choose 2 more verses to round out the year, I'm not sure which ones but I'm sure God will lead me to the right verses. Here's how I've done so far:
A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies, her husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing of value. Proverbs 31:10-11
