Homemade Laundry Detergent

I've ventured into the world of HOMEMADE in addition to homemade knit and crochet items (wash clothes, blankets, scarves, toques) I've decided to try homemade laundry detergent.

3 cups of Borax, and
2 cups each:
Washing Soda
Baking Soda
1 bar of Grated Soap - I use Ivory, my Dad is sensitive to soaps so we have to be really careful with what we use.

It's been almost 2 weeks now and we've not had any troubles with the detergent so far.

Update (September 3, 2011): It's been 6 months and I haven't had any complaints about using this detergent and my Dad hasn't tried to secretly go out and buy detergent without telling me, in fact he's actually done a pretty good job of letting me know we're out and I should make more.  Although when Dad says "you could make more laundry detergent" the Man Dictionary defines it: "I used the last of it yesterday and still have more laundry to clean" and the Woman Dictionary defines it: "We have less than 1/4 left in the container and we'll run out this week".
