I switched bedrooms in November 2009 and more than a year later still had not fully moved in.
Boxes piled against one wall,
the drawer of a dresser I'm not even using is full of knick knacks and half pushed under the bed,
closet a mess,
the table has 2 years worth of unsorted paper and other debris piled on it.
Mom was kind enough to paint my room on one of her days off before I moved in so the paint is still good. My plan is to finish off my room in 2011. My room is a light orange so I'd like most of the accents to be white and red, Sam had a great idea to paint an old drawer and mount it on the wall as a shelf so that's a possibility if I find I need more storage space. I plan to knit a quilt for my bed (I'm half way finished) crochet lacy curtains for the window. Purchase red gingham fabric then sew curtains for the window and closet (my closet doesn't have doors), and a cover for my table. I need to purchase baseboards and ceiling edges, paint, cut and install those, paint my door and buy a bookshelf.
