Prayer - Philippians 4:8-9

"Finally brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honourable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me - practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you." - Philippians 4:8-9

Lord, I have committed to giving up unhealthy media; reading and watching. I ask for Your strength and wisdom as I break old sinful habits and search for new entertainments to fill my time. Help me to find edifying books and movies that are honouring to You and don't lead me into temptation. Lord as I make these changes to my life I've had much more time to spend seeking You in prayer and bible study. Please give me You strength to persevere with these new healthy habits. Lord convict my heart when I get distracted and forget to seek You. Thank You for that lovely Psalms bible study that taught me how to use scripture to lead and inspire my prayers. Lord I ask that Your faithfulness persist and that You keep chasing me as my heart seeks after you.
In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
