Fruits of the Spirit - Self-Control
"For this reason I remind you to fan in to flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands, for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control."
- 2 Timothy 1:6-7
Lord I pray for a spirit of self-control in Brooke's life. That she would learn to turn to you for wisdom in making decisions and that you wold give her the strength to avoid things that will bring her harm and embrace those which are for her good. Not from fear of You or her parents Jesus, but from the confidence and power of Your love and the knowledge that You want her to be self-controlled and to seek what is good.
In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
