"But as for you, teach what accords with sound doctrine. Older men are to be sober-minded, dignified, self-controlled, sound in faith, in love and in steadfastness. Older women likewise are to be reverent in behaviour, not slanderers or slave to much wine. They are to teach what is good, and so train the young women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled."

Lord, I pray for Pastor Heather as she leads the Women of Grace and the Children's ministry at AAC. Help her to be a Titus 2 older woman, reverent in behaviour, teaching what is good and training the young women. I pray also for strength and encouragement, her role with the women's group has expanded with the death of Lois, I pray your comfort for Heather as she deals with the loss of her dear friend and that You would grant her Your wisdom and understanding as she fulfills the leadership role You have called her to.
In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
