Things I Will Never ...

... Subject My Husband To.

Being a single women preparing for and giving thought to my future as a wife and mother has allowed me to observe and evaluate the actions of many people who are ahead of me with their married lives and families.

  1. I reread this list in 2020 and got a pretty good laugh at some of the things I thought were important in 2011, apparently wisdom does come with age. I've delete a couple of points that were ridiculously aggressive and left the rest up for a good laugh.
  2. Hold my purse, I'll drop it on the ground, it's not like I'm overly attached or fashion conscious anyway.
  3. Sleep in a pink painted room or with floral bedding, our bedroom should be a reflection of both of us.
  4. Carry a pink, purple or flowered diaper bag, Geometric shaped, browns, greens and blues and pretty and gender neutral.
  5. Force him to attend chick flicks at the movie theatre, I'll make him watch them at home on DVD and take my female friends to the theatre.
  6. Pressure him to sell a favorite vehicle, it needs to be his decision to provide for and protect our family in that way.
This is not an exhaustive list and I reserve the right to add more resolutions at anytime.

Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord. Ephesians 5:22
